We here at Leslie Here – which is just….me…Leslie (hi!) – love a good one-two punch. Any sort of product that promises to do two things at once. One that helps to eliminate the need for two steps, the need for two products, the need for two PURCHASES. YAS.

Another thing we (I, me, just Leslie) love to do is watch endless amounts of YouTube videos, and this product, the Smashbox Photo Finish Primerizer has been on the lips of so many “gurus” lately. I have been curious about this since it launched, and then gosh darnit, if it wasn’t 40% off during the “Love Your Skin” event that Ulta always reels me in with!

So I got it, and here we are.

I will be the first one to tell you that none of us need another eyeshadow palette. But its different when your husband snags that preorder and gets it for you in time for Christmas, right? Well either way, I got my hands on the new #Hashtag Palette from Violet Voss, and I am here with some swatches and thoughts! When I first saw this palette, it looked like everything I wanted the Desert Dusk palette to be. The purples – so dreamy. The shimmers so ….shimmery. Let’s get into this thing, shall we?

Huda Beauty Desert Dusk Eyeshadow Palette

I had no intention of getting this palette, because it is so similar to so many things I already own! But there are those fewwww shades that are unlike anything I have. And the swatches were really starting to get to me. So let’s see how photoshopped those swatches really were 😉 and if this palette is any good!

Philosophy Take A Deep Breath Cushion Foundation

Helllooooooo! Leslie here with another #foundationfriday! This was one a real struggle to get through – I was off most of the week celebrating with my HusBo, and then started playing Legend of Zelda Breath of the Wild on the Switch again – which is all I could think about. But luckily I have had this one in the chamber for a while 😉

This week I want to tell you alllll about the cushion foundation from Philosophy. One ‘mature’ (50+) YouTuber I watch says it is one of her faves, but other than that I haven’t really heard any chatter about it! Cushion foundations are very popular among the k-beauty world, and because k-beauty is making its way into our lil’ American hearts, everything seems to be cushion these days! Let’s get into it!

Yaaas-lie here! This week for Foundation Friday I am going go over my thoughts on the new(ish) Blur Liquid from Milk Makeup. Milk is one of those super trendy brands with the super artistically simple packaging and millennials are losing their g-d minds over it.

I have been really failing on my ‘no-buy’, and Too Faced’s Peach Perfect Comfort Matte Foundation was first on my list to try! As a lover of the Sweet Peach palette, I was actually not very excited about a lot of the Peaches and Cream Collection. Maybe I’m too old to appreciate the cutesy packaging. But packaging aside, I have seen rave reviews on this particular piece of the line! So let’s see if it is peach PERFECT!
