Taking a stroll down memory lane today! I wanted to look back at my faves from November 2015 and see what I forgot I loved, or what I was still mildly obsessed with.
Too Faced Love Flush Blush in I Will Always Love You
This blush is described as a warm orange with a frosty finish. I would call it more peachy-pink with an orange shift. But Girl! Yes I am still loving this. It adds just the right amount of glow to my cheeks without being overly shimmery or glittery. And the color is beautiful for every occasion. The formula blends smoothly and lasts all day on my cheeks. Highly recommend!
LOC One & Done Shadow Stick in Impress Me
This deep rose gold shadow stick is seriously amazing. I have a couple of other shades, and with all of them the formula glides on so easily, and once blended in lasts all day on the lid without creasing. It makes for really easy ‘one and done’ eye looks- just apply to the lid and blend into the crease! These are available through Birchbox for only $10. (Who else has Shania Twain in their head now?)
Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Wiz in Auburn
These eyebrow pencils are my fall back, my go-to, my bb’s. I ran through Auburn, and repurchased in Chocolate which I feel is a better shade match for me right now. But I will say that the Mirco Brow pencil from NYX is a very great alternative to the Brow Wiz- so I might stick with NYX once my Anastasia runs out. It’s almost half the price!
Morphe Brushes S94 Mini Buffer Contour Brush
I snagged this through HauteLook last year, so it looks like its currently sold out on the Morphe site only available in a huge set. I do still use this almost every time I am applying foundation with a brush- and it only now starting to feel loose, like the handle is about the snap off! Morphe has great budget brushes, so I’m sure I can find a replacement when this one is crapped out. Probably this G6- Flat Buffer!
MAC Pro Longwear Paint Pot in Painterly
This is still my go-to eye primer! I love that it primes to limit creasing AND covers veins and what not, all in one step. I still have a ton left too- so this pot is going to last me a loooong time! At $22, it is a much better deal than other eye primers like the Urban Decay.
Too Faced Chocolate Soleil Matte Bronzer
And to round it out, another ride or die (looks like not much has changed in 12 months for these guys?) my absolute favorite bronzer! It is matte, it is warm, but not too orange, and IT SMELLS LIKE CHOCOLATE. I’m surprised I haven’t hit pan yet on the full size I have since purchased- it will be any day now I’m sure.
As always, thanks for reading!
